Background
Our client came to us with the hopes of bringing in more traffic from her social media. She stressed that she has a lot of Senior cliental as well, and that contact on all facets was important.
Research Goal
Increase revenue by gaining more clients through her social media traffic.
While also making it very easy to connect to her and book appointments.
Introducing a new design layout
Creating an area that will call attention to booking and contacting Jennifer.
I needed to know how we could accomplish this,
while establishing a Glamorous theme.
Target Audience
Based on the average age of my research results,
Target audience would be between 17–70+ years of age.
Who fall under one of the following categories
- The Newbie, Gen Z’s- Young Women: Attending School Events. Cares about looking cute & following trends.
- Marvelous Middle Ages Women: Career Focused. Wants Maintenance on Hair and Nails.
- Classy Upper Aged Women: Regular Hair Service. Wants to keep up appearances and feel confident.

User Research
We conducted an online survey which covered people from the target age group along with some from the other groups. As always this process is done to better understand – the users needs and wants and of course pain points. The data gathered was quite helpful and the analysis was done via (google forms) From the forms responses and analysis – I conducted personal interviews on several online platforms. Including but not limited to Zoom I was able to get a good idea on their goals, wants, needs & over all motivations, and of course the frustrations too.

Branding
This was very important sine he wanted to keep some familiarity of his last logo.
Me and the lead graphics expert created something amazing and fun.
Let me know what you think.
I used Illustrator with this branding project mostly, with a dash of a few other programs

Visuals
My creative side peaking out from all the research and documents.
I love making my clients visions come to life.
That’s part of why I love this job so much. It’s a perfect combination of both.
For this project I used Sketch and just a sprinkle of Photoshop in the end for the staging.
Usability Testing
I used Userzoom mostly for this part with a set of family, friends and aquentances
and also from several different locations of the client.
This process is important to ensure overall functionality,
usability, efficiency, aesthetics, and a lot of other good stuff. 😉
Below are the results from a few responses.
What I learned
Every case is different but you will always have some things intertwine.
There will always be challenges, and usually from the start of the research phase.
Future Road Map
Although I am satisfied with this project now, as we all move forward in our careers and conduct further testings to conform with new standards and updates.
This will definitely be a fun redesign in the future.
